Biography
Evelyn Stokes is the Chef/Owner of I Eat Super! a Nutrition Consulting and Wholesome Catering firm located in the Detroit Metro Area. The mission of I Eat Super! is to teach the remarkable health benefits of incorporating Super Foods into your lifestyle. As a Nutrition Consultant, Evelyn partners with health insurers, hospitals and corporations to host healthy cooking demos and classes onsite as a part of the corporate wellness initiative.
In addition to being a public speaker, Evelyn is a regular on FOX 2 Detroit, performing cooking demonstrations for Meatless Monday and other cooking segments. As a wholesome caterer, she offers deliciously healthy menu selections for your special event.
Evelyn has a Bachelor’s of Arts (BA) in Political Science and History from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor; A Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Phoenix and an Associates in Culinary Arts from the prestigious Schoolcraft College of Culinary Arts in Livonia, MI.
Under the tutelage of several Certified Master and Executive Chefs, Evelyn was formally trained in French Culinary Cuisine. Evelyn’s culinary journey has taken her to several places across Michigan, as well as to one of the finest French restaurants on the east coast – Bar Boulud, New York, where she gained experience in a traditional French kitchen.
